In this episode, Dr. Amr recounts a story of a domestic conflict that took place in the city of Hiroshima and how the parties managed to de-escalate it in the most unexpected manner, and the reactions of Dr. Amr’s Japanese hosts!
Excellent conflict story. I believe non-Japanese could much out of it in regards to social responsibility valued beyond the intensity of conflict between the two parties no matter the cause.
Am so grateful to learnt that and there’s more learnt out of in context of social responsibility ethics and peace building.
Thank you Luke and I am pleased that you find the story useful. Indeed, sharing across cultures and peoples is a key to lifting all of us up. In peace, Amr
