What is Team In Peace, Amr Working on Now?
August 2023
- Dr. Amr is conducting training workshops on conflict resolution to high-level Ethiopian officials and regional leaders. Dubai, August 2023.
- Dr. Amr conducted a training workshop on Mediation to students serving as Community Associates (CA) at Juniata College, with a focus on resolving campus and dorms conflicts. August 11, 2023.
- Dr. Amr will start teaching the annual course “Foundations of Peace and Conflict Studies” at the University for Peace. August-September 2023.
- Dr. Amr will teach the virtual course “Introduction to Peace and Conflict Studies” at Guilford College, North Carolina. August-December, 2023.
- Dr. Amr will teach two courses at Juniata College, Pennsylvania, on “Negotiations” and on “Culture, Peace and Conflict”. August-December 2023.
- Dr. Amr is providing mediation services to Muslim families in the Washington DC area, on behalf of FAITH (Foundation for Appropriate and Immediate Temporary Help).
